Vinyasa is one of the most popular styles of yoga in the world. It integrates rhythmic breathing and conscious movement in all positions, leading us to a more deep level of body awareness.
As in all the practice of yoga asanas, increases strength and flexibility and this specific practice emphasizes the need to posture alignment.
During the course, basic movements to practice vinyasa yoga will be explored: Sun Salutation A and B, modified Sun Salutation, creative sequences and safe vinyasa, modifying postures for all levels of practitioners, standing postures, retroflections, twists, meditation and relaxation.
With this course, you can practice the classes with security, advancing in your physical practice and going beyond it to work in other aspects of life.
It offers an opportunity to strengthen the mind as much as the body, the integration of personal aspects and the expansion of consciousness to live more open and light attitudes.

Goal: in this class, we’re going to understand what vinyasa yoga is and the forms of benefiting yourself with the practice of basic asanas and meditation.
Goal: in this class, we’re going to explore the sthira sukham (comfort and stability), a sequence of mantras and the Sun Salutation.
Goal: in this class, we’re going to learn mantras, poses of balance, stability and fluidity, besides learning a new version of the Sun Salutation.
Goal: in this class, we’re going to do a complete practice, with several asanas, a third version of the Sun Salutation and one meditation.
Goal: in this class, after the traditional mantras, we’re going to do the creative Sun Salutation with crescent ekapadas and the warrior’s pose, followed by other asanas for balance and meditation.
Goal: in this class, we’re going to do one more variation of the Creative Sun Salutation with virabhadrasana B, parsvakonasana e trikonasana, padangusthasana balance poses and meditation.
Goal: we’re going to start this class with concentration mantras, followed by an extensive sequence of asanas and then we’re going to finish up with meditation.
Goal: in this class, we’re going to see the creative Sun Salutation, humble warrior pose, followed by balance poses, natarajasana and meditation.
Goal: in this final class, we’re going to do a warming up to the articulations, the pranayamas (also known as breath exercises) followed by meditation.
About the teacher
Fernanda Cunha is dedicated for over 13 years to yoga. She lived a few years in the United States to expand her knowledge of the subject, studying with teachers as Seane Corn, Shiva Rea, Shakta Kaur Khalsa, Erin Maile O'Keefe, Kevin O'Keefe, Rodney Yee, Colleen Saidman, Natasha Rizopoulos and Paul Grilley. Fernanda is the creator of the dance yoga practice and author of the CD Yoga for Relaxation and Inspiration.
