Vinyasa Yoga is a system based on a sequence of movements coordinated with breathing, connecting a posture to another and creating a continuous flow. Its benefits are more than proven: flexibility and strength for the physical side and more tranquility and consciousness by the psychic and spiritual side.
In this course, Kathy Lobos will teach how the physical body is related to emotions and what we can do to harmonize this connection. She will undergo movements involving all parts of the body, then join them in order to generate an overall balance - physical, mental and emotional.
The last class is especially designed to improve some physical and emotional discomforts caused by the hectic life that most of us have. To enhance the results, the course works the concept of chakras and their colors. With grounded theory but mainly practice, this will be a different way of learning this ancient science. Applied correctly, it can bring great benefits and balance in all areas of your life.

Goal: in this class, we’re going to show what is vinyasa yoga, how it can help you and which are the restrictions for the practice. You’re also going to learn what are the chakras, focused on the basic, or red, one and we’re going to finish up with a practice that helps to activate it.
Goal: in this class, we’re going to talk about the sacral chakra, also known as umbilical, or orange, and its characteristics. We’re going to finish up with a practice that helps to activate it.
Goal: in this class, we’re going to explore the solar plexus, or yellow, and continue with an activation practice of this point.
Goal: in this class, you’re going to learn the characteristics of the green chakra, or heart chakra and, besides the activation practice, we’re going to do a meditation sequence with mantras.
Goal: here we’re going to describe the characteristics of the laryngeal chakra, or blue, and we’re going to do a vinyasa yoga sequence for the throat region.
Goal: in this class, we’re going to explore the frontal chakra characteristics and do meditation sequences and vinyasa poses.
Goal: in this class, we’re going to see the characteristics of the coronary chakra, or violet, besides doing meditations sequences and vinyasa poses.
Goal: in this class, thinking about using the knowledge that was acquired in previous classes, we’re going to do a practice with movements that work all the articulations, the breath, vibration and balance.
Goal: in this completion class, we’re going to work movement sequences for the hips evolution, shoulders and neck.
