Anxiety is one of the major problems of the 21st century. Stress  and depression are the most common disease which affects adults and children. Many concerns, tachycardia, lack of control, exaggerated fears, troubles with sleeping and constant negative thoughts are among the main symptoms of these diseases.

This problem may trigger several difficulties on a daily routine. Going to the supermarket or picking up your child in the school may become a problem, if the person is extremely anxious. Besides that, many professionals were forced to leave their jobs because of the disease, and you’re not able to assume any type of job that requires concentration or not.

According to a study published by the World Health Organization (WHO), anxiety combinaed with depression increases every year.  Studies has showed a increase from approximately 50% between 1990 and 2013, from 416 million to 615 million. Yoga

Practicing yoga may be a good option for those who suffers anxiety. The poses works the physical and emotional balance, as well as breathing. You may also do some postures at your job, there are many postures that may be done at lunch or even sitting.

Good diet

A healthy diet also contributes a lot to control anxiety. Try to avoid processed products and prefer foods rich in vitamins and minerals. Vitamin C strengthens the immunological system and can give wel-being. You can eat an orange or some tea with fruit, for example. Banana is also a good ally. It has tryptophan and serotonin, which helps to maintain a good mood. Serotonin, in moderate doses, is able to relax, reducing the sensation of pain or emptiness and increases the feeling of well-being. Milk, eggs, carbohydrates and some meat and fish also enhance the list.

Physical exercises

A regular routine of physical activities may produce beneficial health effects. When performing exercises, the body releases endorphins, the hormone responsible for feelings such as pleasure and therefore happiness. This substance is able to reduce stress, anxiety and even depression. Experts recommends the performance of activities for all those who suffer from these problems. Walking for three times a week, for example, it is already a great help. You also do not need to leave home to exercise. There are online courses such as Pilates, which are great for those who do not have time to go to a gym.

Positive thinking

A good way to control anxiety is to exclude from your mind negative thoughts. Every time you think that something will not work or think about something that induces the extinguishment of a dream, beat this thoughts. Do not allow that these situations takes care of your emotions. Act with calm and wisdom, always seeking for the best solution. Remember about your family, friends, foods that you like or sing your favorite song. Do not be ashamed to ask for help. If you need to cry on a shoulder of someone you trust, this always works. However, if still symptoms persist, seek the advice of an expert.
